Birds are one of the most amazing creatures found in
nature’s lap. These feathery creatures love to fly but some of them like to
keep their feet on the ground. One has large wings, one is with big beak, one
has the long legs and one cannot fly. There are so many varieties of the birds
found on earth, located in different habitats. But most of them are facing the
threat of being endangered or even extinct due to the human activities. Wild safari park in Singapore zoo has
hosted most of the endangered species of these feathered creatures in their
bird park.
They keep on
organizing various events for enhancing awareness about the conservation of the
animals, birds and plants. In their initiative to conserve the planet earth and
protecting all the natural wildlife reserves, a play date with penguins is
organized. This is an event in which recycling is promoted through penguins.
These polar animals who like to stay in cold areas are facing threat to their
habitat due to the global warming. The ice reserves on poles and on the
mountains are melting at a fast pace due to earth’s increasing temperature.
We need to reduce the usage of the natural resources by
promoting recycling. Whether it is of reusing the metals, glass, plastic or the
waste paper, recycling these things can save a lot of energy and resources,
used to make products. In this play date with penguins at safari Animal Park, children can take part with their parents to
make things out of the waste materials. Therefore the kids can learn the value
of recycling and also conservation of the animals.
